Right at the intersection of 209 and 213 west, Four Winds brings to Stone Ridge exotic goods from around the world. The base of their product line is furniture made of teak. They also carry rugs and gifts. This is a good-looking store.

LUNCH 

Chefs on Fire
Duck to avoid the rough-carved beams, you'll find yourself surrounded by old wood posts and stone walls. Here, Chef John Novi has created a richly rewarding cafe and bakery. Country. Great all day.
Egg's Nest Saloon
High Falls' version of Alice in Wonderland.
Food: simple, wholesome and delicious. Great place for a meal or snack any time of day. Ambience: has been extraordinary, along the lines of Gaudi and the Watts Towers. Generally a cheerful and hip place.

AFTERNOON

The D&H Canal
You would have been fortunate indeed to visit High Falls in the heyday of the D&H canal. Today, you can trace the magnificent engineering of this famous canal, not only through a working model of a lock and dioramas in the museum but by following the towpath, locks 16 to 20. See download map.
Sunday Flea Market
To experience High Fall's exhilarating mix of local people and celeb second homers you can't do better than visit Sundays mid-May thru October when this traditional flea market is in session.
